Glaze fault diary: crawling

Crawling arrived uninvited on a run of tall vases: glaze pulling back in islands, bare clay between. The usual suspects are dust on the bisque and glaze applied too thick.

It was neither — a bad batch of wax resist had been flicking micro-droplets during application. One new tin and the fault vanished. The diary earns its keep again.
