The tool roll: what earns its place

The tool roll has carried the same seven tools for years: two ribs, a wire, a needle, a sponge on a stick, one loop tool ground to a chisel edge, and a knife older than the studio.

Everything else lives in a drawer as a museum of enthusiasm. Tools earn a place in the roll by being missed, not by being bought.
